'Flipped Learning'
"The session will focus on an overview of what flipped learning involves, when it can be used, and how to identify the right group to use it with. There will be a heavy bias towards active differentiation in the classroom and how you can get started by exploiting pre-existing resources."
Nick is a former translator and interpretor with an interest in educational technology.

'Know your colon from your semi! Creative ways with grammar’
Workshop 4. Lee Card (Cherry Orchard Primary School)
'Assidere: to sit beside or s(h)it upon. Assessment: a crisis of identity'
"This workshop is an opportunity to talk Assessment across primary and secondary phases, sharing thoughts, ideas and theories.
Assidere - 'To Sit Beside': Can we recapture the essence of true assessment? Can we create an educational climate where assessment is not 'done unto' but is an intrinsic aspect of teaching and learning? What are schools now doing 'beyond levels' and can we operate in a system without numerical labels for children?
Bring your ideas... Share your influences... Leave with a refuelled moral compass."
Lee is Deputy Head of Cherry Orchard Primary School, Worcester (part of the Wroxham Transformative Learning Alliance)
Workshop 5. Claire Sheppard (Woodrush High School)
'Evidence Based Practice'
